Her grandmother was living on the streets until her three-year-old age at which point she was placed to a foster home. Her adopted father, a Filipina-American who has a military background is white and American. The woman claims that she as well as her adopted brother and their mother were subjected to abuse as children until she entered the military. She and her family moved to Texas in the year thirteen because her father was undergoing bypass surgery. They spent a few weeks there in San Francisco with her aunt. The video was zoomed-in on her dancing while lip-syncing to the song became a viral hit. When she first became a member of TikTok and gained fame, Poarch started up a YouTube channel and Twitter account. Poarch hit her highest point of fame around December. According to reports, she attracted the attention of two major professional Esports organizations. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves are interested in hiring her to write videos for their respective brand names.
