Caterina Scorsone from Canada is an American actor. Caterina Scorsone gained fame after she played the Dr. Amelia Shepherd role in Grey's Anatomy Station 19 and other dramas. The same character was played by her in a different drama called Private Practice. Her sister's name is Francesca Scorsone. At the age of a child actor, she appeared as a child actress in the Mr. Dressup program. In the cult film Power Play, she played Michelle Parker. Missing was another successful film of her career in which she played Jess Mastriani. Her talent was evident as an actor in 2009 when she portrayed Alice in the movie Alice. She then appeared on the popular television series Grey's Anatomy. She was Amelia Shepherd in this series. Following a brief appearance as a recurring character, she was promoted to the lead role due to her exceptional performance. She has been involved in numerous projects which have proved successful throughout her career. Her first television appearance in 1996, appearing on a show called Goosebumps. In 1998, she had her acting debut on the show All I Want to Do.
