Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy), American actress. She is known as a naive character who are engaging and relatable. Adams was among seven siblings that grew up as a young child in Colorado's Castle Rock. Her birth was during the time that her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. The mid-1990s saw her begin dancing and performing professionally at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. She then moved to Minnesota and was cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentary film that explored beauty contests. After making her screen debut as a ditzy but good-natured contestant, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Also, she raised Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was caught by actress Norma shearer and was offered a contract to work for MGM in the late 1940s. Leigh was a star in a variety of popular films during the following decade, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from the year 1960) and Living It Up (1954) with Martin Lewis.
